Gluten free Christmas guide

As we enter the final stretch of 2017, I’m sharing a mini gluten free Christmas guide.

Rather than advice about preventing cross contamination, here are some festive food and gift suggestions for coeliacs.

If you or your family do need some help with cooking safely, read this. No one wants a flare up at Christmas.

The advent calendar

Montezuma’s Organic & Vegan Dark Chocolate Advent Calendar

Enjoy dark chocolate chunks each day until Christmas.

Alternatively, the English Tea Shop calendar offers 25 flavours of tea in a lovely box.

The stocking filler

Luxury Lush Pud

You can’t eat it, but it smells wonderful.

The roast

Sage and Apricot Nut Roast

This Deliciously Ella recipe is simple and suitably festive. I’ve enjoyed it with potatoes, veg and gravy for the past two Christmases.

If the thought of cooking one from scratch is stressful, try this mix.

The snack

Sainsbury’s Free From Mince Pies

Crumbly (without falling apart) and sweet. These were a hit last year.

The gift

Magnetic Meal Planner

Because the gluten free life means being prepared.

Do you have any other ideas?
