By the time this spring turns into summer, I will be married (provided all goes to plan, touch wood, et cetera). During our engagement I have circled back to one question that introduces many others. Will I change my name?
October has been a month of waiting and celebrating. It’s brought good news and small reminders of autumns gone by. I’m adjusting to the cold, slowly. As I anticipate upcoming changes, I’m getting lost in birthday books and looking further ahead. Here are some things I’ve recently enjoyed.
This month I turn 25. I feel good about this quarter-century birthday. As I step firmly into my mid-twenties, I’m reflecting on more lessons learned so far. You can read similar posts from 2016 and 2017 if you like.
1. I’ve changed in many ways over the last ten years. I’m less anxious, more settled. More ambitious in some areas, less so in others.
2. In some ways I haven’t changed at all. I still enjoy reading, writing, musicals, being in bed at 9:30pm and most things involving Reese Witherspoon.
Hello again. I’m enjoying the familiar comforts of early autumn – well-worn jumpers, crunchy leaves, you know the drill. I’ve been thinking about goals for the last quarter of the year and looking ahead to 2019. Here are a few of my favourite things from this month.
